The first class for ABI was well attended and interest was high for the material. As before stated the purpose for the Institute is to provide a working knowledge of the Bible.
Of course we here Bible Way believe the Bible is the word of God without question. Unlike many so called Bible Schools and Seminaries who teach their students to criticize the word, we actually believe it.
The purpose of this school will be to equip the saints for the work of ministry including, preaching, soul winning, other church related tasks.
The first course of study will be Old Test Survey 1 with Old Test Survey 2 to follow in the spring. The course of study will continue to grow including but not limited to, hermeneutics (taught from literal grammatical historical perspective), New Test Survey, Church History with emphasis on the Baptists, Apologetics, Theology and Eschatology.
Also taught will be a hands on - practical and theological - approach to soul winning including house to house, street evangelism and personal evangelism. nursing homes etc. Outreach will be required for all courses. There will be more information on the requirements in the near future.
